Last Roadtrip of 2007!!!

So Ryan and I are going to spend the weekend with family in north north texas and it's gonna be our very LAST road trip of 2007! I can't wait to see my grandparents I don't get to see them enough :( I'm a huge grandmother's girl! I have a few presents left to wrap before we leave but nothing to big! I'm just excited to get there! I hate driving on 635 so we are going to avoid it at all cost. I just keep seeing our wreck over and over. I told Ryan I have post traumatic stress over it lol! Fingers crossed we will get there in one piece!!

HAPPIEST HOLIDAYS!

Wow so Christmas came and went so fast!

Last Sunday we had the big X'mas party which turned out AWESOME!!! The only bad thing was Ryan hurt his back :( but nothing a few drinks didn't numb. Anyways I won't go into details about the rest of the night but it was a blast!

Monday we got up early early and went to flower mound for x'mas with my parents, which was even better! We are getting hardwood floors for X'mas!!!!!!! I'm so excited because that is going to make a huge difference! January we are spending the whole month finishing up our house and changing Ryan's studio into a nursery! (I don't get off that easy he's getting a bigger better studio, its all about compromising!)

Tuesday we did Christmas morning with my family then drove back to Tyler to do Christmas morning/afternoon with his. Santa likes to sleep in at his house! This was by far one of the best Christmas's' ever! My sissys (in laws) picked out things that I love without having to ask me anything.

MY RING!!!!!

I've always wanted my birthstone in white gold but its very hard to find one that looks good. Ruby is almost always used in a gold setting! However, I found one when Ryan and I went to pick up his ring from the jeweler and fell in love. I honestly didn't think I was going to get it because it was expensive and we are working on our house stuff so I didn't hold my breath. Then after I opened all my presents at his parent's house he pulled out this bag and there it was!!! Did I mention that I by far have the most caring, loving, and just best husband in the whole world!

Yesterday Ryan went to the dr. for his back and how is on all kinds of pain meds and has to take it easy. So we cuddled all day watching our new Planet Earth Dvd (yes we are nerds)! Then last night we went to eat with the fam and see Walk Hard which was funny I suggest you go see it. Fair warning it does show wankers though!

So now today I'm working the store then off to get X'mas gifts for my grandparents and then to Ryan's parents house to watch the game and eat! Fun Fun!

To January!

So this month wasn't our "month". Not for a lack of trying lol! So here is to January and a new start in every way!

So I finally got all of our stocking stuffers! I found the BEST STUFFER EVER at walmart its Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Dazed and Confused where they sell them in a pack! Our two favorite movies on dvd together!!!! Which is even better because now I can help to educate Emily on the best movies of all time!

Family night rocked! I'm excited for the x'mas party on Sunday, Aunie is coming! I haven't seen him in forever and Samir is in town! Yea for the holidays!

Tonight Ryan and I are going to go ahead and take all our gifts to his parents, and there is some silly football game on that I'm sure I'll be forced to endure :)

Now if only Amy would get her lazy butt up and go buy me something pretty!!!

Another family night out!

So last night we finally got the tree decorated at Ryan's parents. As custom I broke a ball, I'm so so so not graceful! We watched Family Vacation of course .... always a good time! Ryan's big gift came in and is wrapped I'm so excited! Unless you know me well you won't understand the phenomenon of me being able to keep a secret about presents! This year I've only told one thing!!!! I'm on a roll!!! Now the only huge thing left to do is stocking stuffers! I think I'll be more on the ball next Christmas when we have a little one to buy for!

So tonight we are taking a break from all the Christmas rush and having our usual family night out at Fridays! It'll be fun just not to think about wrapping for an itsy bit!

Oh I'm getting all the stuff together to sell kiddos clothes in the spring time, very exciting!

Okay well its starting to get super busy again!!! I've had like a ten minute break today and thats been it! Not complaining though!

I'm so crazy happy today!
My brother made it back safe!!! I love Christmas!! Its the best; listening to my little brothers get all excited about Santa coming!!! Ryan and I are gonna stay with my family for X'mas to be there for Arie's first Christmas!!! Then we drive to Tyler and wake up his family (they sleep in compared to e&a who get up at like 6am) Its funny how when I was a teenager I couldn't wait to move out and my parents couldn't wait for me to go (i was a problem child to the extreme) and now I can't wait to go home and they can't wait for us to get there. Although I still need to wrap their gifts!!!

Found A Dress?!?

So after shopping for what seemed forever last night I finally found a dress. Its not my fav and I'm still looking but it'll do I guess! The plan so far is for the girls to get ready at my casa and go up there. That'll be the fun part! Amy and I are working on our "songs". I can't even begin to think about only having 4 days left until Christmas! I've got so much stuff left to get ready! I need to make a list today and just get it done! Ryan had to go to Huntsville yesterday :( I miss him like crazy! He comes home today which means I need to get ALL my gifts wrapped for him!

Well I guess I'd better get started!

Corrina, Corrina

So I'm sitting here on the couch watching Corrina, Corrina waiting for Ryan to get ready! I'm dreading getting some of my last minute shopping done :( I'm still needing stocking stuffers! To top it off we have a huge Christmas party on Sunday and tonight Amy and I are going dress shopping. I'm trying to convince Em to go as well, however, she hurt her leg pretty bad and probably won't be able to. So this is just alot of last minute holiday stress! My brother is supposed to be flying in tomorrow from Chicago I'M SO EXCITED!!! Just trying not to get my hopes up to much because of all the snow they are getting there! Sunday was interesting! We went to the Cowboy's game to watch Em dance pre game and game! We got stuck between die hard cowboy fans and die hard philly fans, this was an event in its own! Not sure on our hopefully Chirstmas' news but thats okay if it doesn't happen this month then we will just have a great New Years gift! The best thing is how excited Ryan is over the whole thing! I have the best husband in the world!

So its almost the end of the year and there are so many things I can't wait to just leave behind in 2007! I've learned that its VERY TRUE no matter how long you have been dating your spouse the first year of marriage is HARD! Ryan and I had so many crappy things happen to us this year, lost a mini us, Ryan had someone he trusted as a friend turn it into something it wasn't, I had to handle all the drama that came with that episode. But its in the past and we are moving on! So my New Years resolution to go forward and not look back, and of course have our new little one!!!

Wow so I thought yesterday would be a great day and it was but it was also hilarious, in retrospect of course!
It started off with Debbie and I getting some serious shopping in! We started at Kohls and worked our way down Broadway. Anyways so we are in Kohls and I'm looking at the Vera Wang Collection with her watching her try on a jacket (picture this I'm wearing a dress (no underwear because I'm so scatterbrained I forgot to pack enough) and heels of course although they are open toed) so anyways I'm looking at this jacket and I start to walk towards her when I trip over the damn display, I'm trying to fall gracefully without showing my blossom to the whole world and in the process I about cut my toe off :( Well I love my mommy in law because she starts in on the salespeople about how dangerous this display is and that her daughter needs a bandage right away and they are lucky someone doesn't seriously hurt themselves and sue. Well of course now the sales lady has called the manager over on their walkie talkies and I can here everyone talking about some lady who tripped and cut her foot and yaddie yaddie yaddie over their walkie talkies and I'm just really embarrassed. FINALLY they bring a band aid and the whole ordeal is over! However I still felt really silly and like all the sales people where still laughing at my ability to be ever so gracefull!
And then I came to work after buying the best gift in the world for my hubby! Ryan finally made it home so we went and shopped some more with his rents, had dinner. We also learned that a wheelchair will roll all the way down a parking lot!
P.S. The police know who the guy is who hit me YEA!!!!
As for today we're both working hard at the store almost time for Amy to take over then its off to take a nap and its our turn to make dinner tonight!
Tomorrow we have to get up soooo freakin early to go to the Cowboy game, Emily is dancing at both pre game and halftime wooohooo! It'll be freezing and AMAZING! I'm just not looking forward to driving in Dallas anymore for a while!

Ugh I still hurt like hell, no fun! I went back to work today and got kinda down because the store was dead this morning then around four it was packed so that was GREAT! I'm still at the inlaws, it'll be nice to go home because Ryan will be home, but I'm gonna miss it here! Dinner is always perfect and on time lol! So just one more full week until X'mas! I have so much stuff left to buy, and I'm so proud because I've kept every gift I know a secret!!! This never happens! I've only showed Ryan two of his gifts so far which is even better! Okay well I've got some serious wrapping to get to!

OMG Where do I start!!!
Sunday Ryan and I put up Christmas Lights and tried to clean up our yard but got a little preocupied! I've found new joys in leaf piles ;)
Monday Ryan had an audit at work and he was so stressed but he still made time for our long goodbye and now he's outta town :(
Tuesday was CRAZY!! Debbie (my mommy in law) and I went to Dallas to look for "little" things and go to market and see my mom and ryan. Well that was our plan! We finally made it to market after all that traffic and bad weather then we shopped around waiting out the storm. By the time we got done we were late meeting Ryan for dinner which was great! Anyways before we left he said don't get in a wreck and jinxed us! We were on 635 going along when three cars in front of us wrecked (the first guy took off) I stopped before hitting them but got rearened by these three guys who were STILL smoking their joint even after their air bags deployed!! Anyways so I get out to check on everyone else and I was so proud that I didn't hit the people in front of us. so we all get out everyone but Debbie and call the police, call ryan, and are waiting when this semi comes by and almoust kills all of us which started another wreck in the lane beside us , I yell for Debbie to get out of the car and pull her out just in time before we all got hit again by four more cars!! It was sooooo crazy and just like something out of a wildest police video! Anyways the guy behind us TOOK OFF leaving their car there, they had to shut off the loop for over an hour! Anyways my car was the ONLY car that didn' t have to be towed , my back bumper has so problems! So we will ALWAYS ALWAYS have a commander! Ryan got there right before the police did thank god because if he hadn't I wouldn't have ever been able to hold it together. So anywas now I get to hurt like hell for the next week or so and not take any real pain killers LUCKY ME! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS WEEKEND!!!!

My Craziness

So its December, ALL READY, I have only purchased a few things for Ryan and thats IT. I love Christmas usually but its so hot here and miserable that it just doesn't feel like Christmas. I found a kickass new vendor for artistic t's for the store, very exciting! I tried to make myself get upset the other night about an event that happened to me and I couldn't even come up with one tear. Not even a little one! I did sigh though, but thats it! I guess I'm moving on and away from that which is GREAT! There could be a new little Harris running around soon and we couldn't be happier about it! Trying hard not to get our hopes up we will find out in a week! Tonight is X'mas decor night at Ryan's parents so hopefully that will help to put me in the holiday spirit. Fingers crossed!

Chicago and Thanksgiving and of course Alisa's Shower!

So the month of November has been CRAZY!!!

We had Alisa's shower and not being able to use pink WORKED! It turned out great and you could def tell she was having a girl!! We served pregger craving food like olives it was GREAT!

I got to go with Kendra to one of her Dr appts and see the baby! She yawned it was adorable! Kinda weird though! Kendra is the cutest pregnant person! She's all belly SO WAS ALISA it makes me nervous for our time seeing as how all my girlfriends DONT GET FAT when they get pregnant just a round little ball and that's it! The whole fam (sans husbands) went to Chicago so see Patrick graduate from the navy! Of course Ethan had to sit by the window but thats okay he's five and I'm a grown up I can handle disappointments better lol! I never realized how hard it is to explain how to pop your ears until we went to land and both the boys ( 5 and 3 year olds) where going crazy because their ears hurt so much! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chicago!!! Its cold and busy and the architecture is amazing! Getting to see Patrick was bittersweet I was so happy to see him and then it was really hard to say goodbye and leave him there all alone for thanksgiving! 952 guys graduated that day and I spent the whole time watching some guy that I thought was Patrick but ended up not being him (bad big sister i know). I tried to make a capacino cheesecake for Thanksgiving, it tasted WONDERFUL, looked awful! I love my parent's new house its so "grand". Ryan was a baby hog the whole time which is great because we are going to start trying soon so he's getting his training in!

I'm glad to be back home again! I've missed my sissy in law :( And my dog!! Which slept with Steve and Debbie while we were gone!

Anyways time to get back to work! FUN FUN!

Another Day In The Life

eww..... 4:30 that leaves me with just one more hour of quietness until football time! It won't be all bad though I'll get to see my father in law dance wooohooo and afterwards Amy and I are double dating lol! Its so hard not to talk about a "secret" geez. I'm thinking its about time for a cookie! I was a good wife yesterday and got Ryan TWO cookie cake slices (after I got myself a fun bit of something from Victoria's Secret) "I wish they sold them by the bite" Amy hahahaha. I'm trying a new thing to be LESS BITCHY for one day, I think I'll start that tomorrow. Its the whole positive energy saga, if you are positive then positive things come to you. I've tried this once before, I was nice to everyone and thought good things about people and that kinda screwed me a bit. I'm sticking to my diet again starting ... Monday!!! Just had to celebrate making it through Halloween with Amy. Although I'm proud of myself I've stayed at my old goal of keeping it around 110 for a while now, time to up the anity I'm going for 105 lol! I'm a bit shallow on the weight end but all girls are (if they say they don't care how much they weigh then they are usually fat or druggies!). Well I've killed enough time for one day! Football time! PS I HATE FOOTBALL but i LOVE my fam so I'm going without bitching!
